i wish the visuals were a bit more refined. they're a bit hard to focus on. Still good, but my point stands.

hitboxes are very janky, the enemies have way too much hp, movement and attack patterns are very stiff, the new art style takes a lot of time getting used to, you can just walk to some of the next rooms without defeating enemies lots of desirable features are missing(e.g aimlock, directional dash, melee attack) and the backstory is boring, long, and deterring. although the music fits well, and the animation and design are solid, unfortunately i'd rather play the original, and i suggest you all do too.
